Who we are

AIDA Labs Ltd ("AIDA") is a technology and data intelligence company registered in Ghana. We build data infrastructure for food supply chains in West Africa. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this site.

What we collect

We collect information in two ways.

The first is information you provide directly: email addresses submitted through the product notification form, and correspondence sent to AIDA email addresses such as partnerships@aidalabs.tech and press@aidalabs.tech.

The second is basic server logs: IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This information is used only for site operation and security. No tracking cookies or third-party advertising technologies are used on this site.

What we do not collect

We do not collect payment information. We do not collect sensitive personal data such as health information, racial or ethnic origin, or financial account details. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to any third party.

How we use your information

Email addresses collected via the product notification form are used only to notify you when the relevant product becomes available. We do not add these addresses to any marketing list or share them with third parties.

Partnership and press correspondence is used to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, to facilitate a working relationship with AIDA.

Retention

Email addresses collected via the notification form are retained until the relevant product has launched and notifications have been sent, or until you request deletion — whichever comes first. Correspondence is retained for as long as it remains operationally relevant. Server logs are retained for a maximum of 90 days.

Third parties

We do not share personal information with third parties except where required by applicable law. The site may be hosted on infrastructure provided by third parties; those providers process data only to the extent necessary to deliver the service and are bound by appropriate data processing agreements.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you may also have the right to data portability and the right to object to certain processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are located in Ghana, the Ghana Data Protection Act 2012 governs your rights in relation to personal data we hold.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
